AMDS aims to identify and nurture future academic leaders in the Asia-Pacific region. To facilitate the interaction between mentee and mentor, each mentee would have the privilege to receive guidance from 1 mentor, who is an AAPPO fellow or international leading expert. We hope mentees can learn more and grow faster under this one-on-one mentorship scheme. Mentees will also gain insights and inspirations by meeting prominent seniors during the "Meeting the Master Forum" held during the APAO 2025. ADMS mentees will receive training and guidance on leadership skills, his/her 5-year career plan, and a self-initiated project.

This year, selected Mentees will be required to:

1.      Attend a virtual Leadership Workshop (1) of 2-3 hours on Zoom, tentatively on Nov 2 (Sat)(TBC);

2.      (a) Attend an onsite Leadership Workshop (2) of 2-3 hours and;

         (b) Meeting the Masters Forum of 1-1.5 hours during APAO 2025 New Delhi (April 3-6, 2025);

3.      Complete and present a SWOT Analysis on a mentee’s 5-year career development;

4.      Complete and present a self-initiated project

The AAPPO Council has pledged to support its ADMS by offering Mentees complimentary registration for the 2025 APAO Congress (April 3 - 6, 2025). Other costs, such as travel and accommodation expenses to attend the 2025 congress are to be borne by the Mentees.
