Merck Foundation together with its partners, with an aim to improve access to trained specialists across underserved communities,  is introducing scholarships for young local doctors in many new specialties including Emergency and Resuscitation Medicine, Gastroenterology, Laparoscopic Surgical Skills, Mental Health: Psychological Therapies, Orthopedic Trauma Science, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Advanced Surgical Practice, Critical Care, Practical Dermatology, Neonatal Medicine, Pain Management, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Rheumatology, Endocrinology and Diabetes, Clinical Microbiology and infectious diseases, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Neuroimaging for research, Urology, Trauma and orthopedics.  This is in addition to the specialty programs in Diabetes, Preventative Cardiovascular Medicine, Endocrinology, Sextual and Reproductive Medicine, Acute Medicine and Respiratory Medicine.  All these courses are in English, from reputed UK Universities. We invite applications from Asian doctors from under-served communities for these courses on our mail: info@merck-foundation.com, on or before 15th May 2021.  Scientific Committee will review the application and select based on the eligibility criteria, available seats and fund.  We have also attached herewith the Application format for the candidates to fill and submit.
