ABSTRACT Male
gray rabbit was performed an over-treated argon laser trabeculoplasty in one
eye and let the intraocular pressure to be increased, then killed the rabbit
to make the section of the anterior chamber angle by means of electron microscopy
to compare structural change in an over-treated and controlled eye.
From the section we have
found the narrower of the trabecular space where is the location to drain
the aqueous. So we can conclude that an over-treated argon laser trabeculoplasty
(high power and high number of spots) will make the intraocular pressure
to be increased.
