ABSTRACT A case of Erythema multiforme with acute, bilateral uveitis in a 13 year-old
girl was reported. She experienced acute illness within 1 day of beginning
oral trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole. Uveitis is a rare ocular manifestation
in Erythema multiforme. In this case, she responded well to topical steroids
but developed complications of uveitis. Careful use of drugs and early management
of the disease will reduce mortality rate and loss of vision from complications.
