Report: Purtscher's Retinopathy

ABSTRACT
One
case of Purtscher's retinopathy was reported. The patient had blurred vision
in her left eye after car accident with chest compression. There were soft
exudates and flame-shaped hemorrhages around the optic disc. The patient was
followed for 4 months. It was found that soft exudates and hemorrhages were
disappeared but the optic disc was pale. The clinical picture, pathogenesis,
differential diagnosis and management of this condition were reviewed.
