One case of Purtscher's retinopathy was reported. The patient had blurred vision in her left eye after car accident with chest compression. There were soft exudates and flame-shaped hemorrhages around the optic disc. The patient was followed for 4 months. It was found that soft exudates and hemorrhages were disappeared but the optic disc was pale. The clinical picture, pathogenesis, differential diagnosis and management of this condition were reviewed.
