Retinopathy of Prematurity in Ramathibodi Hospital (1989-1993)

ABSTRACT One hundred and three babies with high rish for retinopathy of prematurity born at Ramathibodi Hospital were examined. Twenty-seven of them developed ROP. Fifty percent with gestational age of less than 30 weeks developed ROP. Those with body weight of less than 1700 grams who received oxygen therapy developed ROP in 28.4% of cases.
