ABSTRACT : The prevalence survey of vitamin A
deficiency in children in a rural district of
northern Thailand was done by the conjunctival impression
cytology (CIC) method. The abnormal
CIC was found in 53.5% of the children and more prevalence in
the children below 6 years old.
