BSTRACT A
case of Tersons syndrome in 50-year-old Thai male was reported. The
patient had a sudden blurred vision with severe headache for one month. The
eye examination revealed dense vitreous hemorrhages in both eyes. The patient
had no neurological deficit. The investigation showed left choroidal artery
aneurysm demonstrated by the cerebral angiogram. It was supposed that this
aneurysm caused spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage and vitreous hemorrhage.
Blood in the vitreous was removed by vitrectomy and the visual acuity improved.
