ABSTRACT This
paper presents three cases of congenital fibrosis syndrome. All of them
have congenital ptosis and abnormal ocular motility without any apparent
causes. The contractile tissue of the muscles is believed to be replaced
by fibrosis tissue without any known mechanism. Given that it is a rare
condition, this paper introduces these cases since the principle of treatment
is not as straight forward as other motility problems. In addition, this
paper also reviews literature on congenital fibrosis syndrome.
