Abstract Three cases
of oculomotor nerve synkinesis were reported. Two were the oculomotor nerve
misdirection occurred after oculomotor nerve palsy from head injury and
non-Hodgkin lymphoma infiltrated at parasellar region. The last one occurred
without previous history of oculomotor nerve palsy. Computerized tomographic
scan demonstrated ipsilateral cystic lesion in the cavernous sinus.
The characteristics findings such as pseudo-Graefe sign, pseudo-Argyll Robertson
pupil, horizontal gaze eyelid synkinesis and sector contraction of iris
spincter were found in these casses. In the patient without previous history
of occulomotor nerve palsy this syndrome harborred lesions of the cavernous
sinus.
