ABSTRACT Orbital echography should
be one of the basic means of examinations in diagnosis of exophthalmos.
But ophthalmic ultrasound is not generally available and relatively expensive
for most provincial hospitals in Thailand. The purpose of this study is
to demonstrate and evaluate the reliability of a real-time, linear array
scanner in findings of orbital lesions and differentiation of tissues.
